This opportunity means a great deal to us, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to introduce ourselves than by supporting one of Rock Hill’s most beloved hometown traditions.
A Hometown Moment for Dr. Coombs
Sponsoring the Mayor’s Frog Jump and participating in the Come-See-Me Parade to kick-off the festival will be especially meaningful for our founder, Dr. Spencer Coombs and his wife, Sarah, who are both originally from Rock Hill.
Growing up here, the Come-See-Me Festival was something they looked forward to every year, so being able to come back and support it as a local business owner is a full-circle moment.
Coombs Orthodontics will be open for business this Summer 2026 and the decision to start supporting the local community now was an easy one. This will be a meaningful way to give back to the city that helped shape Dr. Coombs and to invest in the families who make Rock Hill such a special place to live.
What Is the Mayor’s Frog Jump?
Taking place on the first Saturday of the festival (April 18th from 10am-2pm) the Mayor’s Frog Jump is one of the most popular and family-friendly events at the Come-See-Me Festival.
Participants can bring their own frogs to compete in a friendly jumping contest or Come-See-Me staff will provide one for you. Spectators and families gather to cheer, laugh, and enjoy the lighthearted competition.
Each year, the event draws:
- Local families and children
- Community leaders and festival organizers
- Visitors from across York County and the surrounding region
It’s a tradition that perfectly reflects the fun, welcoming spirit of Rock Hill — and one we are proud to support.
